Sowing the seeds keynote:

As a chocolate artist I create my own pieces in-between commissions. It’s really easy to lose track of time creating my own pieces. Steve’s broad bean seed exercise was just what I needed to create a system for timing my projects. From putting the soil mesh in water – developing the idea of my creation, to the roots sprouting – creating the chocolate elements, to the first shoots – the piece coming together, to a lovely small plant – the completed piece. The timing is often perfect to get a new creation out in a couple of weeks in-between commissions whilst seeing the broad bean develop. A practical inspiration, thank you Steve!
